Sharpen your needles and get ready for a worldwide knit off. We’re celebrating our 10th anniversary with a Pea Coat KAL. Get inspiration, personal coaching, and insider secrets from the industry’s brightest knitwear designers.
This KAL is a celebration of past milestones and new creative adventures. We’ll be knitting the iconic Pea Coat from the cover of Knitwear Design Workshop. Our featured yarn, Merino VIII from Trendsetter will soon be on sale from the KAL Store. We swatched with the Gold Merino VIII, pictured above, using a size 8 (5 mm) needle. It yielded a beautiful, crisp fabric with a firm hand.
Trendsetter's Merino VIII is a gorgeous eight-ply yarn that is perfect for this Pea Coat Project! In addition to the wonderful stitch definition and versatility, it comes in an astonishing array of vibrant colors.
